About the job:

• Set up an optical fiber communication testbed with off-the-shelf components.

• Develop scripts for automated control of the testbed, which needs to realize functionalities such as connecting to instruments, reading data, analyzing data, determining actions for next steps and configuring the instruments.

• Conduct transmission tests and analyze experimental data.
