Internship: Material Handler (4-month) - Perth, ON, Canada

Eaton\u0027s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Material Handler Intern.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nEaton is looking for a Material Handler Intern for 4-month for summer term. This position is based in our Perth, Ontario Distribution Centre. \n\nThis position is scheduled to start in May 2026.\n\nThe hourly range for this role is $20-$22 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\n\nPosition Overview: \nReporting to the Warehouse Manager, this position takes part in all stock handling duties such as receiving, order picking, loading/unloading trucks, replenishment, cycle counting and Physical Inventory. \n\nResponsibilities for Material Handler: \n\u2022 Picking and receiving material; move and pick up material from other departments, as needed \n\u2022 Inspect and verify inbound material for condition, quantity and accuracy \n\u2022 Packing and shipping Purolator shipments \n\u2022 Inventory cycle counts \n\u2022 Assist with offsetting warehouse vacations within the summer months \n\u2022 Perform other related duties as assigned \n\u2022 Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton\u2019s Philosophy and Values as well as the Safety and Environmental standards\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nBasic Qualifications: \n\u2022 Enrolled and returning to an applicable post-secondary program. \n\u2022 Must be legally allowed to work in Canada without company sponsorship now or in future. \n\u2022 This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must reside within 120 kms of the work location.\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \n\u2022 Previous experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment an asset.\n\n## Position Criteria:\n\n\u2022 Strong analytic skills \n\u2022 Strong customer services focus with a commitment to confidentiality, a high level of professionalism and time management skills. \n\u2022 Demonstrated ability to work safely on multiple projects, in a manufacturing/distribution environment. \n\u2022 Good problem solving, mathematical skills and troubleshooting ability.\n\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
