Position Status: 1 Full-time Temporary 12-month assignment.

Reporting to the Parks Supervisor, the Parks Labourer will be responsible for the maintenance and beautification of City owned outdoor recreation and leisure spaces such as parks, trails, beaches, open spaces, ball fields, docks etc., by performing a variety of semi-skilled and skilled labouring work including snow removal, mowing, trimming, shoveling, and gardening. The Parks Labourer will perform all duties in a safe manner and in accordance with the Ontario Health & Safety Act and the City of Kenora’s Health & Safety Policy. In addition, this position also provides leadership and guidance to junior laboring staff.
