About the Role
The LTC Education Summer Student will support the Quality Assurance Manager in the Long-Term Care Division.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Administration:
• Assist with the collection and organization of data
• Organize documents related to Quality Improvement initiatives and programs
Education:
• Assist with the development of educational resources
• Create, edit and design content using PowerPoint and Learning Management Systems
• Film and photograph content for education resources
Engagement:
• Distribute and complete surveys for Elders and Families
General:
• Incumbents must keep up-to-date on all relevant legislation, collective bargaining agreements, County Policies and Procedures, etc. ensuring that these are implemented as prescribed
• Incumbents must possess the physical ability to meet the duties and responsibilities of the job description and/or the requirements identified within the position's Physical Demands Analysis.

What We Are Looking For
Minimum Formal Education
• Completion of one year of post secondary education related to Gerontology, Quality Improvement or related study
Experience
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint
• Experience working in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) as well as other electronic databases would be an asset
• Must be well disposed to working with Elders and working as part of a team
