Marketing Communications Co-op Student

As an Agency Services student, you will be part of the Communications team within the larger Agency Services department. Agency Services functions as an in-house marketing agency supporting various business areas. This team acts as both project and communication leads, working closely with internal designers, photographers, videographers and digital specialists.  

This team’s core mission is to ensure all marketing and communications assets, whether internal or external, are on-brand, high-quality, and impactful to their community. From concept to execution, anything that needs to be designed or printed flows through Agency Services. This role functions as a key contributor in maintaining brand trust and consistency across the organization. Our Agency Services students will have the unique opportunity to gain exposure to many facets of the business, making it an excellent starting point at Irving. 

Responsibilities:   

• Supporting the intake and coordination of creative briefs and ensuring smooth execution across teams 

• Helping track timelines and deliverables to keep projects on schedule 

• Drafting and editing content for various campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand voice and messaging 

Your Skills:   

• Skilled in relationship management and comfortable working with cross-functional teams 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 

• Adaptable and fluid with change, able to pivot as project needs evolve 

• Open to feedback and capable of critical thinking 

• Strong writing skills, including creative, functional and digital content 

Your Experience:   

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Business Administration program with an interest in marketing 

• Experience in any customer-facing role is a plus, as it helps build essential communication and collaboration skills 

• Interest in writing and storytelling
