Summer 2026 Work Term

Term Length: 4 months

Term Start: May 4, 2026

Term End: August 21, 2026

The pay range for the co-op student role will reflect factors such as the candidate's experience, academic level, and the specific skillset required for the role.

Loblaw has adopted the following hybrid working model (a combination of working between the office and remotely). Colleagues can work remotely up to 1 day a week, while spending the other 4 days in the office (to be determined by each business unit).

What You’ll Do:

  • Liaise with cross-functional business partners to obtain relevant data, solve problems, and create efficient processes
  • Navigate planned and incoming priorities, and problem solve ways to bring to completion (trade-offs, resources, interrelated activities) along with monitoring and reporting on them
  • Identify synergies, interdependencies and overlaps across various projects and priorities, and provide recommendations to the Senior Manager, Program Management
  • Support and conduct ad-hoc analysis leveraging internal & external data sources for business specific issues supporting brand and category teams, including but not limited to consumer research, market audits, customer data analytics
  • Assist with Loblaw Brands initiatives that require project planning and project management across multiple stakeholders and deliverables

What You’ll Need:

  • Enrolled in undergraduate degree similar to Business Administration, Commerce or related area of study
  • Passion for brands and a food lover!
  • A “can-do” attitude with ability to rally the team around a common goal
  • Organized and able to move quickly within a fast-paced environment
  • Resourceful, self-starter and proactive
  • Independent problem solving and ability to think critically
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in order to effectively source information, collaborate and build relationships
  • Competency in presentation development (PowerPoint) and data analysis (Excel), and can synthesize and communicate in a clear and succinct way
  • Ability to convert data to insight, insight to recommendations and recommendations into an action plan
  • Previous experience in retail operations, brands, and/or merchandising is an asset
