LOFT Community Services is a unique and dynamic charitable organization that supports people living with complex issues such as mental and physical health challenges, substance use challenges, poverty and homelessness. Serving 20,573 annually and providing 1,856 units of supportive housing last year, LOFT is one of Ontario’s largest mental health service providers of its kind. What You Will Do:
  • Assist with organizing, cleaning up, and maintaining files to ensure consistent and accessible document storage
  • Schedule, coordinate, and support meetings, including booking rooms and managing calendars
  • Take meeting notes and assist with follow‑up actions as needed
  • Support project managers with a variety of project‑related administrative and coordination tasks
  • Develop and maintain basic tools such as Excel spreadsheets, trackers, or simple online forms
  • Conduct project‑related research and summarize findings for the project team
  • Collect, compile, and organize information and data required for ongoing projects
  • Provide general administrative and project support as needed
What You Bring:
  • Must be a youth ages between 15 to 30 years of age and eligible to participate in the Canada Summer Jobs program.
  • Be a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or someone to whom Refugee Status has been granted/conferred.
  • Have a valid SIN
  • Must be comfortable working from home with the ability to attend in person meetings in the Toronto area.
