Here, you\u2019ll be supported in progressing \u2013 whatever your ambitions. \n\nPlease note this is a 6-month internship opportunity beginning as soon as possible.\n\nAbout the role\n\nThe R\u0026D Prototyping Intern supports key operations improvement initiatives and supports the team of technicians by coordinating technical information pertaining to prototyping of medical devices, harnesses, and test fixtures. They will bring plenty of ideas to enhance the team\u2019s agility and accuracy through implementing process and tools. They will be a team player and will work closely with Inventory, Mechanical, Test, and Systems Engineering teams. This role will help you grow to your full engineering potential. \n\nYour responsibilities will include:\n\n * Prepare build information including schematics, drawings, and BOMs working with mechanical, systems, and test engineering teams to understand their needs. \n\n\n * Prepare process workflows, flowcharts, MIs and processes for building prototypes under R\u0026D and clinical build procedures. \n\n\n * Work closely with technicians to support technical aspects of work, support them in their questions and facilitate prototype builds. \n\n\n * Support the development of operational systems using various low code tools such as MS SharePoint Lists and Excel. \n\n\n * Identify new equipment and techniques to improve physical build processes. \n\n\n * Support day to day operational efforts such as issue resolution, HSE, and continuous improvement. \n\n\n * Take initiative to improve the Prototyping team. \n\n\n * Other duties as required. \n\n\n\nRequired qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, industrial or similar engineering fields \n\n\n * Experience using BoMs, CAD, and Engineering Drawing Standards \n\n\n * Excellent organizational, communication and collaboration skills \n\n\n * Strong command of Excel \u2013 ability to manipulate data and formulas \n\n\n * Exceptional communication skills, fluent in both written and spoken English\n\n\n\nPreferred qualifications:\n\n * Experience in manufacturing regulated medical devices \n\n\n * Experience in introducing operations and engineering processes \n\n\n * Experience of physical electromechanical assembly \n\n\n * Knowledge of operations databases and/or MRP systems \n\n\n * Experience working with CNC milling, Laser cutting, and 3D printing \n\n\n * Experience of engineering reviews and process such as DfM and PFMEA \n\n\n * Experience of physical prototyping and manufacturing processes \n\n\n * Working proficiency in French \n\n\n\nVeuillez noter qu\u2019il s\u2019agit d\u2019une offre de stage de 6 mois commen\u00e7ant d\u00e8s que possible.\n\n\u00c0 propos du poste\n\nLe ou la stagiaire en prototypage RD soutient des initiatives cl\u00e9s d\u2019am\u00e9lioration des op\u00e9rations et appuie l\u2019\u00e9quipe de techniciens en coordonnant l\u2019information technique li\u00e9e au prototypage de dispositifs m\u00e9dicaux, de faisceaux et de montages d\u2019essai.
