About this Opportunity
This is a co-operative education term employment opportunity within Ulnooweg's People and Organizational Culture team. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience working in an Indigenous-led organization which requires the fulfilment of all duties aligning with the principles of Etuaptmumk and Netukulimk. You will have the opportunity to learn how world views inform the practice and continuous development of human resources. Navigating the implementation and continuous revision of HR practices with a lens of decolonization is central to the role.
This co-op placement offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated and resourceful student to gain hands-on experience in Human Resources process development, systems improvement, and digital workplace solutions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys problem-solving, managing multiple priorities, and creating efficient processes and systems. You are comfortable working independently, confident troubleshooting challenges, and thrive in a collaborative Microsoft 365 environment.
In this role, you will support the design, development, and implementation of a SharePoint site for the People & Organizational Culture (P&OC) team. Working closely with employees and stakeholders across a diverse multi-entity organizational ecosystem, you will help create tools and processes that enhance collaboration, information sharing, and operational effectiveness while gaining valuable experience in HR systems and project work.

Eligibility
This position is supported through the Nova Scotia Co-operative Education Incentive (CEI) Program. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a recognized post-secondary co-operative education program and eligible to complete a Fall 2026 co-op work term.
Students are encouraged to confirm their co-op eligibility with their institution’s Co-op Coordinator before applying.
The successful candidate will be required to provide documentation confirming enrollment in an eligible co-op work term.
