Accountabilities:
In this role, you will support analytical initiatives that help teams make informed decisions and improve business performance. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting provincial and business-level decision-making through data analysis, reporting, and insights.
- Preparing, validating, and analyzing datasets for recurring reports and ad hoc business requests.
- Enhancing reports by identifying trends, performance drivers, and actionable recommendations.
- Translating analytical findings into clear business narratives that help stakeholders understand opportunities and challenges.
- Collaborating with experienced analytics professionals to contribute to projects that impact strategic priorities.
- Applying curiosity and critical thinking to identify emerging patterns and support continuous improvement.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented student with a strong interest in analytics, business strategy, and data-driven decision-making. Required qualifications and skills include:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, analytical, business, or related field, with third-year standing or higher.
- Strong interest in using data and analytics to solve business problems and support strategic decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience using additional analytical tools considered an asset.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate insights clearly through written and verbal communication.
- Curiosity, adaptability, willingness to learn, and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
