Web Marketing Coordinator, Internship

Index is a 15-year-old agency specialized in marketing + AI, with over 1,000 completed projects across e-commerce, higher education, real estate, and B2B. We build proprietary AI tools and deploy them for real clients with real budgets. Our flagship platform, ALYA, generates product enrichment at scale and monitors brand presence.

• Strategy and consultation
• Content creation
• Analytics
• Web platforms
• *Note that the nature of a project dictates which components of the agency’s production department need to be involved

Your role and tasks

Index is growing its team and looking for a Web Marketing Coordinator Internship. The schedule is flexible with a possibility to work from home. Remuneration is offered.

An internship with Index provides an exceptional opportunity to apply digital marketing skills in real-life scenarios. Our internships are full-time (40 hours per week) with a duration of 6 to 8 months.  During this time, you will receive training while fully experiencing an environment in continual evolution. Step by step, you will put into practice the strategies that Index develops for clients of a variety of sizes in a variety of industries.

• Run real campaigns : online advertising, SEO, content, analytics — for clients across multiple industries
• Work with AI tools : contribute to R&D on Index's proprietary AI platform and internal tools
• Present results : deliver data-driven reports to clients on a regular basis
• Quality-check : everything QA is a core part of how we operate for flawless deliverables
• Own projects : gradually manage schedules, budgets, documentation, and client follow-ups as your confidence grows
• Build performance strategies : formulate original, results-driven marketing plans (not templates)

Qualifications required for this position

• Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen or authorization to work
• Bilingualism (French and English)
• Strong writing skills in both English and French
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of the Google suite
• Ability to work both independently and in a team, and to multitask several projects at once under tight deadlines

• Sales and business experience
• Certifications or experience in other technology or web marketing fields
• Bonus points if you can send us SEO or AI ideas in your cover letter or application
• Proficiency in a 3rd language (Mandarin, Portuguese, Spanish, or another language)
• Passion for the Web and new technologies
• Familiar with the agency or tech ecosystem
• University studies in communications/marketing, or a related discipline, in progress (must be enrolled in a full-time institution for the duration of the internship, or otherwise must be able to show proof that he/she is enrolled in school full-time for after the internship)
