Position Overview
The Intern at the Senators Community Foundation will play a crucial supporting role in charitable gift distribution, event logistics, donor-report building, and drafting documents for the Foundation. This position is ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about community-driven work. The intern will develop skills in philanthropy, donor stewardship, project management, and event planning, all while contributing to the Foundation’s mission of supporting children and youth in the Ottawa-Gatineau region.

This internship offers hands-on non-profit experience in an exciting and fast paced environment where you’ll have visibility to every faucet of the donor cycle including gifts administration, annual giving, signature events and stewardship all while contributing to and showcasing the Senators Community Foundation’s impact in the community. You will gain essential skills in project and time management, advancement in communication skills, a business and non-profit acumen which will further prepare you for opportunities in philanthropy.
