Description

Our CNB Woodlands team is looking for a Silviculture Assistant (Summer Student) to join us for Summer 2027. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on forestry experience while working alongside experienced professionals and supporting silviculture activities across Central New Brunswick.

Responsibilities

Ensuring silviculture contractors and operators are following safety and quality standards
Monitoring the implementation of various silviculture treatments (planting, plantation cleaning, vegetation management)
Assisting with operational planning and reporting

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Forestry, Forest Technology or related post-secondary program
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid Class 5 driver's license or ability to obtain one prior to employment
