In accordance with Letter of Understanding #1 – Student Employees, and under the direct supervision of the Athletics, Recreation and Student Life Coordinator, the Wellness Peer Ambassador organizes, promotes and delivers activities to support student health and wellness. The Wellness Peer Ambassador provides information, resources and referrals related to enhancing health and wellness as required in a welcoming and inclusive way. |
Functions and Duties
The Student Employee will assist the supervisor by performing the following duties:

Education and Experience
Enrolled in a post-secondary program at Okanagan College; students enrolled in health programs will be preferred. Prior work experience is an asset. |
Skills and Abilities
- Proficient in the use of computer systems and software including Microsoft Office
- Knowledgeable in social media and poster/design programs is an asset
- Comfortable speaking/presenting in front of groups
