Are YOU looking for to gain experience in a medical laboratory setting?
We are seeking a Laboratory Administrative Intern to support our Operations team for Summer 2026. This opportunity provides exposure to laboratory administration and the chance to support projects focused on improving processes and operations within a clinical environment.
Status: Internship: Mid-June thru end of August 2026
Hours of Work: Mon-Fri, day shift
Location: Downtown Kelowna
Workstyle: 100% onsite

How YOU will make a difference:
- Support day-to-day laboratory administrative processes and documentation
- Organize and maintain laboratory records and files
- Assist with reporting, tracking, and follow-up activities
- Provide project support to laboratory leadership (process improvements, documentation updates, tracking)
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to support operational needs
What YOU bring to the role:
Current enrollment in a post-secondary program (Health Sciences, MLT, or related field)
Strong attention to detail and organization
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Interest in healthcare and laboratory operation
Working Conditions
- Normal office environment
- Medical laboratory environment
- Able to lift a 30 lbs (pounds)
- Repetitive movements
- Perform duties in stationary, standing and sitting positions
- Exposure to noise, chemicals, solvents and bio-hazardous materials
