Summer Worship Intern – Weekend’s

(1 position available)

This position will be of interest to those with an interest in the musical aspects of a church. This is a Government Grant position, and to qualify you must be between the ages of 15 – 30, be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident, and legally able to work in Canada.

Key Accountabilities:

• Assist in weekend service responsibilities


• Playing in the worship band


•  Organize & clean up the rehearsal room and stage


• Organize music instrument storage, rehearsal room, and green room


• Support the Weekend’s Ministry team in planning and implementing weekend services and other special events 

Additional Requirements/Responsibilities:

• Experience in worship or tech ministry an asset, but not required


• Complete Abuse Prevention process (internal training)


• Attend staff meetings and staff chapels as scheduled.


• Follow and live by the “Rule of Life” adopted by the entire SPAC staff, and adhere to the policies and procedures of the Staff Handbook.


• Works well independently with little supervision and works well within a team setting.

Qualifications:

• Must be between the ages of 15 – 30


• Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.


• Highschool diploma


• Personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ


• Team Player

Working Hours:  Working a mix of weekends and weekdays are required

Reporting to:  Worship & Music Pastor

Special Notes:

•  Working days are flexible and will be dependent on the applicant. Weekend hours are a requirement. Saturday and Sunday hours are a requirement.
