MEDIA ASSOCIATE & EDITOR
Department: Media & Communications
Reports to: Producer & Media Manager
Status: Full Time (May to August 2025)
Potential start date: May 06, 2025
Potential duration: 16 weeks
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Media Associate & Editor role exists to support the various needs of the department through research, content capture/mixing, media management, as well as assist in the editing and creation of video and animated elements for online, live gathering and TV broadcast use.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project research and pre-production
Assist with film shoots (in studio or on location)
Christmas Stories media management
Photo/Video Capture
Sunday and event photography/videography (including sort, tag, edit, upload)
Pre-Service Announcement filming
Photo/video for social
Media Preparation for Sunday services
Prep and load content for ProPresenter
Video Editing
Sunday recording card ingest and package Sunday sermon content for transcription and Paper Edit
Edit Sunday service elements, including opening/closing comments and one-off videos
Collect song's information and royalties for LT programs and SOCAN.
Help with audio in the studio recordings like put microphones and check audio levels.
Assist with Living Truth / TPC video audio mixing
Background music procurement/stem edits, Soundstripe playlist creation
Sunday’s – sermon audio
Clean-up Call to Worship
Team meetings
1-1 meetings with supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
Deep and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ
1+ years of Media, Communications, Editing, Animation, Producing, video production experience or field of study
Experienced with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder, Audition, Lightroom, Photoshop). Experience with ProPresenter and Pro Tools is an asset

Between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment;
A Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act* and;
Legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial / territorial legislation and regulations.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Mostly in-office with possibility of some remote work
Sundays required
Vulnerable Sector clearance required
Support and understand Shared mandate and Statement of Faith
Interacts with others (volunteers, staff, member) regularly
