***Please note: This is a fulltime temporary Summer position***

Premier Equipment is seeking a reliable and hardworking Summer Student to assist with lawn maintenance and general shop cleanliness during the summer season. This position is ideal for a student who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in keeping facilities well maintained, and has experience operating a lawnmower and weed eater. The successful candidate will support the team by maintaining the grounds around the property and helping ensure the shop area remains clean, organized, and safe.

• Mow lawns and maintain grass areas around the property.
• Operate a weed eater/trimmer to keep edges, fence lines, and hard-to-reach areas neat.
• Assist with general yard and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Help keep the shop clean, organized, and free of debris.
• Sweep floors, remove garbage, and tidy work areas.
• Support staff with basic cleanup tasks around the facility.
• Follow all safety procedures when operating equipment and working around the shop.
• Report any equipment issues, hazards, or maintenance concerns to a supervisor.
• Perform other general duties as assigned.

• Previous experience operating a lawnmower and weed eater is required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various summer weather conditions.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in completing tasks properly.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
• Comfortable performing physical tasks such as walking, bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be a student returning to school in the fall, if applicable.

Compensation

Placement within the wage range is based on skills, experience and qualifications.

Applicants with more or less experience and qualifications may be placed outside the salary range.

Sales positions will have a commission component as well.
