Summer Student - Retail Leasing

Role impact:

To provide support to the Retail Leasing Team, including, but not limited to analysis, workflow coordination, process management, and research tasks. This is a contract position for the Summer, the successful candidate must be available from May to August.

What you will deliver:

• Researching new local clients for the retail leasing team and assist in the sales process with these prospects.


• Preparation of internal and external research tasks relating to sales, traffic and competitive analysis.


• Preparation of marketing material, leasing packages, and presentations for internal and external use.


• Assist in the preparation of reports, lease summaries, and business cases.


• Maintain professional service and support in client facing duties including business reviews, phone and email inquiries and other client interactions.

What your strengths are:

• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal


• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word with the ability to quickly adapt to other programs (Tableau, Salesforce)


• Preparation of reports and materials to meet deadlines


• Strong research and prospecting abilities


• Self-starter and highly motivated

What you need to succeed:

• Enrolled in an Undergraduate Degree in a Business or Real Estate related program


• Proficient computer skills
