Supply Analyst Co-op Student

As a Supply Analyst Student, you will support data analysis, reporting, and logistics planning to help optimize supply operations and transportation decisions. 

The Irving Energy Supply team focuses on managing and analyzing data across operations. The team supports logistics planning by tracking supply levels, transportation efficiency, and costs. They maintain reports and provide insights that help teams make better decisions, and ensure optimal supply at all bulk plants to service customers. The team is based at the Crown Street office and works closely with internal stakeholders across the business.   

Responsibilities 

• Analyze inventory data and support reports that track supply levels across bulk plants 

• Make recommendations to improve inventory levels and reduce supply risk 

• Assist in managing propane rail car fleet data and related reporting 

• Support route optimization by analyzing transportation options and costs 

• Help build dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI to track logistics performance 

Your Skills 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Good communication and teamwork skills 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools 

• Interest in logistics, supply chain, or data analysis 

• Experience with Power BI or data visualization tools is an asset 

Your Experience 

• Currently enrolled in a Business Administration program with a strong interest in logistics and supply chain management   

• Must have completed at least 1 year of post-secondary education and be returning to school
