Job Description - Supply Chain Process Improvement Engineer Co-Op Student

Department: Distribution Centre – ARC’One
Reports to: Manager, Warehousing & Logistics Business Process
Location: New Westminster, BC - This role is primarily based out of our New Westminster office, and is open to hybrid remote work
Work Arrangement: Flexible, between in-office and home
Pay Range: $44,700 - $55,100 per annum dependent on year of study and related experience
Duration: Four (4) months, May 4, 2026 – August 21, 2026
Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week, M-F

Your Co-Op Opportunity at ARC’TERYX: 
As Process Improvement Engineer Co-op, your role is to analyze and document current processes in Warehousing and Logistics and to support Arc’teryx Supply Chain with data input, analysis and feedback to identify opportunities for process improvement.

Our team within warehousing and logistics focuses on enhancing supply chain efficiency through data insights. We work closely with cross functional departments to streamline operations and improve overall performance.

If you were a Supply Chain Process Improvement Engineer Co-Op Student now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

    • Analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements and equipment layout to improve processes.
    • Problem solving and developing corrective action plans for non-conformances.
    • Analyzing processes, operations sequence, and flow of operation.
    • Collecting and analyzing data across multiple systems resources to drive continuous improvement initiatives
    • Providing data input, analysis and feedback on various process improvements for the Warehousing and Logistics team to support overall operational excellence.
    • Creating, evaluating and revising detailed process flow charts and SOPs to ensure cross functional alignment to drive efficiency and collaboration.
    • Analyzing current system output and establish related KPI metrics.
    • Communicating findings and recommendations through data and visualizations.
    • Supporting change management and process stabilization
    • Participating in operational initiatives as needed that are related to productivity and automation improvements.

    • Hands-on experience with data analytics in warehousing and logistics, learning to apply analytical techniques to real-world supply chain challenges.
    • First-hand experience with large scale warehouse automation
    • How to develop and promote meaningful KPIs in a supply chain environment
    • How to work collaboratively with various stakeholders in the retail industry

Are you our next Supply Chain Process Improvement Engineer Co-Op Student?

    • Enrolled in one of the following programs: Industrial, Mechanical, Process, or Textile Engineering, or Operations/Manufacturing Management
    • Intermediate computer skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    • Knowledge of 6S and LEAN manufacturing methodologies
    • You are energized by identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
    • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
    • You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
    • You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
    • You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right

$44,700 - $55,100 a year
Individual pay is determined by factors such as program of study, year of study, job-related skills, and relevant experience.
