The National Technology Training group is dedicated to supporting CIBC Wood Gundy by delivering comprehensive technology training and support. We serve Wood Gundy Advisors, their teams, and both regional and national audiences through in-person and virtual sessions. Beyond training, our team actively participates in technology projects and the deployment of new tools and platforms, ensuring front-line staff are empowered to deliver exceptional client service. As a co-op student on this team, you will regularly interact with team members, business partners, and occasionally with Wood Gundy Advisors and their support staff, fostering strong working relationships and professional networks. Beyond training, our team participates in technology projects and the deployment of new tools and platforms, ensuring front-line staff are equipped to better serve our clients.

At CIBC, we enable the work environment to be most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $50,840 to $59,350.

The base salary is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, as well as geographic location and specific business needs. Our compensation philosophy supports ongoing growth and development, enabling progression within the salary range as team members advance in their roles.

Important information:

  • You must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies to be eligible. However, you do not need to be in a registered Co-op program to be considered for a role.

  • Recruitment timeline: Applications review – January/Feb; Interviews – February/March; Offers - March/April

  • Work Location: 81 Bay Street, Toronto ON

  • Duration of term: 4 month co-op term (May 2026 – August 2026)

  • Communication - Excellent verbal and written communication skills will be put to use to allow successful collaboration with your team.

  • Innovation - You'll make an impact by assisting in problem solving and finding solution and often going above and beyond in assisting to find a resolution.

  • Support - Provide hands-on support to advisory teams and staff, responding to technology-related inquiries and troubleshooting issues.

  • Time Management - Manage multiple concurrent objectives, project, groups and activities, while prioritizing and allocating time effectively.

Who you are

  • You can demonstrate experience in or knowledge in Microsoft Office, training development tools (ex. Articulate or Camtasia), or project management software (ex. Jira or Trello).
