UX/UI Design Intern (Summer 2026)

We're seeking an up-and-coming UX/UI (web) designer to join our growing team for Summer, 2026 (April/May to August). As a designer on our team, you'll have the opportunity to continuously learn and grow your skills, helping us create exceptional websites and digital products. This is a paid internship that will be offered 32-40 hours (4 or 5 days) per week.
Please note: this position is awaiting funding approval.

We welcome Edmonton-area applicants that will be enrolled in an applicable post-secondary program this coming September that can showcase an understanding of UX/UI best practices, typography, layout, and visual design skills. We're excited to work with someone who is passionate about their craft, their future as a designer, and is eager to contribute to our dynamic and collaborative team.

About The Role

You’ll be joining and supporting a close-knit team of supportive UX/UI Designers and Developers. You’ll be given the opportunity to take on projects while receiving the coaching and resources you need to continue in your professional development. You will work on an interesting assortment of marketing work, assist on custom website designs, template designs for our products' users, apps, branding work, and more. 

Essentials

• Understanding of UX and UI best practices


• A portfolio of your design work


• Proficiency in tools such as Figma or the Adobe Suite


• Familiarity with accessibility best practices


• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Bonus Points

• Familiarity with UI animation and microinteractions


• Some proficiency in HTML and CSS


• Graphic design and branding skills


• Experience working within a CMS (Wordpress or others)


• Photography
