Canadian Retail - TD Canada Trust is TD Bank Group's customer-focused personal and small business banking business. Serving more than 15 million customers nationally, TD Canada Trust provides a full range of financial products and services through its retail branch network, mobile app, telephone, Internet banking, and 'TD Green Machine' automated banking machines.

Branch Banking Delivery Excellence (BBDE) supports branches across Canada including the experience of approximately 19K Branch Banking colleagues. At BBDE, we are guided by our North Star to elevate advice, increase customer and colleague confidence and meet more customer needs.

The Network Strategy, Planning & Delivery team is responsible for the strategy behind all new branches builds, relocations, closures, and renovations in the Canadian retail banking network. The team is also responsible for the strategy and decisions relating to the ATM footprint and the hours of operation for our branches.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to Senior Manager, Network Strategy

Supporting Leaders within the Network Strategy, Planning & Delivery team

The Analyst will support the Senior Managers within Network Strategy in driving cohesive business strategies that support the Branch Banking network.


Specifically, key responsibilities will include:

  • Support the development and ongoing refinement of strategies for the selection and prioritization of Network Planning activities (New Branch Openings, Relocations, Mergers, Renovations, ATMs).
  • Work with partners to maintain a record of all approved and pipeline projects and publish reporting as required.
  • Provide strategic reviews of past Network Planning activities to understand the impact and how performance has measured up against business case projections.
  • Support delivery initiatives to ensure strategies brought forward are successfully implemented.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce or related field; with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term
  • Self-initiator with strong organizational, planning and time management skills
  • Keen attention to detail and an ability to deliver within tight timelines
  • Strong organizational skills and experience in multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, service oriented; able to manage multiple priorities and activities with minimal guidance; effectively work across business units
  • Ability to work independently but also collaboratively with a variety of individuals at different levels
  • Tactful communicator; able to exchange ideas and information in a concise and logical way
  • Demonstrated discretion and exercises appropriate risk based judgement
