Accountant - Remote Work

Job Description:

Sealed Air is seeking a motivated and driven Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis, working remotely from Toronto, Ontario. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. Your innovative mindset and ability to work well in a team setting will be crucial to your success in this role.

Responsibilities: 1. Manage all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and budgeting. 2. Prepare financial reports and projections for management. 3. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations. 4. Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve financial performance. 5. Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures. 6. Collaborate with team members to achieve department goals. 7. Participate in regular financial audits and provide documentation as needed.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting. 3. CPA or relevant certification preferred. 4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 6. Ability to work independently and in a team setting. 7. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
