Accounts Payable - Remote Work

Job Description:

Supervalu, a leading grocery distributor in Vancouver, British Columbia, is currently seeking a passionate and independent Accounts Payable Associate to join our team on a remote part-time basis. As an Associate-level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience in accounts payable.

Responsibilities: - Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests accurately and efficiently - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Assist in month-end closing activities and financial reporting - Communicate with vendors to resolve billing issues and discrepancies - Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records - Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the Accounts Payable Manager

Requirements: - Proven experience in accounts payable - Strong organizational and time management skills - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to conduct research and problem solve effectively
