Accounts Payable - Remote Work

Job Description: Citi Canada is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable professional for a remote part-time position based in Montreal, Quebec. As an Associate level team member with at least 4 years of experience in accounts payable, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and expenses.

Responsibilities: - Review and verify invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports for accuracy - Process invoices and payments in a timely manner while adhering to company policies and procedures - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Monitor accounts payable aging report and follow up on outstanding invoices - Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all financial transactions - Assist with month-end closing activities and financial reporting - Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve any issues or inquiries related to accounts payable

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - 4+ years of experience in accounts payable or financial accounting - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Passionate and driven individual with strong decision-making skills and creativity
