Accounts Receivable - Remote Work

Job Description:

SaskTel, a leading telecommunications company in Canada, is seeking a remote Accounts Receivable specialist to join our team in Montreal, Quebec. This part-time entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the field of finance and accounting. We are looking for someone who is resilient, adaptable, and possesses strong decision-making and communication skills.

Responsibilities: - Process accounts receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner - Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and follow up as needed - Reconcile discrepancies in customer accounts - Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable - Generate financial reports related to accounts receivable - Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing issues - Maintain documentation and records related to accounts receivable - Provide support to the accounting team as needed

Requirements: - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to work effectively in a remote work environment - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software - Strong organizational and time-management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines - No prior experience required, but a willingness to learn and grow in the role
