Remote Accountant

Job Description:

Seaspan ULC is seeking a dedicated and passionate Remote Accountant to join our team in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This part-time entry-level position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and global environment with colleagues from around the world. As a Remote Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial health of the company through accurate and timely accounting processes.

Responsibilities: - Maintain and reconcile financial records - Prepare financial reports and statements - Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable - Assist with budgeting and forecasting - Conduct financial analysis and reporting - Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards - Collaborate with colleagues across different time zones - Support strategic planning and decision-making processes

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - Strong attention to detail and analytical skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Knowledge of financial principles and practices - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines - Willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment
