Remote Accountant

Job Description:

Biogen is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Remote Accountant to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia, as a part-time Associate Level member. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in accounting.

Responsibilities: - Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll - Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets - Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve financial performance - Support audits and tax preparation processes - Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure financial compliance and accuracy - Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field - CPA certification preferred - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
