Accountant

Job Description:

HCA Holdings is seeking a driven and hardworking Accountant to join our team in Montreal, Quebec, CA. This is a part-time position suitable for an entry-level candidate with at least 1 year of experience in accounting. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities: - Prepare financial statements and reports - Analyze financial data and trends - Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards - Assist with budgeting and forecasting - Handle payroll and tax filing - Collaborate with colleagues worldwide on financial projects - Provide recommendations for cost-saving initiatives - Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as needed - Maintain confidentiality of financial information

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - CPA designation is a plus - 1+ years of experience in accounting - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Persuasion and adaptability skills - Driven and hardworking attitude
