Accountant

Job Description:

BlackRock is seeking a part-time Accountant to join our team in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. As an Associate level Accountant, you will be responsible for various financial tasks to support the organization's financial operations.

Responsibilities: - Prepare financial statements and reports - Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data - Assist with budgeting and forecasting - Analyze financial data and provide recommendations - Assist with audits and compliance - Collaborate with team members to achieve financial goals - Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with regulations - Support senior finance staff with ad-hoc tasks as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting - CPA designation is a plus - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent attention to detail - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Independent and dedicated work ethic - Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
