Accountant

Job Description:

Biogen, a leading biotechnology company, is seeking an entry-level Accountant to join our team in Montreal, Quebec, on a part-time basis. As an Accountant at Biogen, you will be responsible for a variety of financial tasks to support our operations. This position is perfect for someone who is reliable, energetic, and looking to gain valuable experience in the accounting field.

Responsibilities: - Prepare financial statements and reports - Assist with budgeting and forecasting - Perform general ledger reconciliation - Process accounts payable and accounts receivable - Assist with payroll processing - Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to management - Support internal and external audits - Adhere to regulatory and company policies - Collaborate with other departments on financial matters

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - Strong attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - People management and strategic planning skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - No prior experience required
