Accountant

Job Description:

Molina Healthcare is currently seeking a part-time Accountant to join our team in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting activities. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in accounting and possess strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities: - Prepare and analyze financial statements - Assist with budgeting and forecasting - Perform month-end closing activities - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records - Assist with audit preparations - Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data accuracy - Provide support to the finance team as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - CPA designation is preferred - 3+ years of experience in accounting - Strong analytical skills - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software - Resilient and energetic personality traits - Emotional intelligence and cooperation skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
