Remote Accountant

Job Description:

iHeartMedia is seeking a Remote Accountant to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia, CA. As a part-time Associate Level Accountant with at least 2 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in managing financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities: 1. Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. 2. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. 3. Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial records. 4. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes. 5. Provide support during audits and tax preparations. 6. Review and analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement. 7. Assist in developing financial policies and procedures. 8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial transparency and efficiency. 9. Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 2. CPA certification is preferred. 3. Proven experience in accounting or finance roles. 4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 5. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 8. Confidence and passion for financial management. 9. Strategic planning and problem-solving skills.
