Accounts Payable

Job Description:

Performance Food Group is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. This part-time, entry-level position is ideal for individuals with at least 1 year of experience in accounts payable and a strong passion for finance.

Responsibilities: - Process and reconcile vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner - Prepare payments for approval and processing - Review and investigate discrepancies in invoices and resolve issues with vendors - Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions - Assist with month-end closing procedures - Collaborate with the finance team to ensure smooth operations

Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent; degree in finance or accounting preferred - 1+ year of experience in accounts payable - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines - Driven and motivated personality - Strong presentation and teamwork skills
