Job Description:

Walgreens Boots Alliance is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable clerk to join our team in Montreal, Quebec, CA. As an entry-level position, this role is ideal for candidates with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role. The Accounts Payable clerk will be responsible for processing a high volume of invoices, reconciling vendor accounts, and ensuring timely payments.

Responsibilities: - Review and verify invoices for accuracy and adherence to company policies - Process invoices for payment in a timely manner - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues - Maintain accurate and organized financial records - Assist with month-end closing processes - Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper coding of invoices - Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed

Requirements: - 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related field - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Reliable and resilient personality traits - Adaptability and research soft skills
