Remote Accounts Payable

Job Description:

We are seeking a Remote Accounts Payable professional to join our team at American Airlines Group in Montreal, Quebec. This part-time position is perfect for entry-level individuals who are looking to start a career in the finance industry. As a Remote Accounts Payable specialist, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of accounts payable tasks from a remote location.

Responsibilities: 1. Process invoices and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner 2. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies 3. Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries 4. Assist with month-end closing procedures 5. Work closely with the accounting team to ensure smooth operations 6. Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all transactions 7. Adhere to company policies and procedures related to accounts payable 8. Provide support for ad hoc financial projects as needed

Requirements: 1. Confidence in working independently and in a remote environment 2. Adaptability to changing work demands and priorities 3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry 4. Ability to work effectively in a team-based setting 5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 6. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel 7. Basic knowledge of accounting principles is a plus
