Remote Accounts Payable

Job Description:

National Oilwell Varco is seeking a dedicated and resourceful individual to join our team as a Remote Accounts Payable. This part-time entry-level position is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or related field.

Responsibilities: - Verify and process invoices for payment - Reconcile vendor statements - Assist with month-end closing procedures - Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency in accounts payable processes - Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payment - Maintain organized electronic files and documentation - Assist with ad hoc projects and tasks as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think innovatively
