Accounts Receivable

Job Description: United Natural Foods is seeking a motivated and energetic individual to join our team in Montreal, Quebec as an Accounts Receivable Associate. In this part-time position, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, collection of payments, and reconciliation of accounts.

Responsibilities: - Generate and send out invoices to customers - Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve any discrepancies - Reconcile customer accounts and ensure accuracy of transactions - Prepare and maintain financial reports related to accounts receivable - Assist with month-end financial close processes - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer inquiries and concerns - Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement creative solutions - Adhere to company policies and procedures related to accounts receivable

Requirements: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or related field - Strong decision-making and creativity skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software systems - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred - Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
