Job Description:
Freddie Mac, a leading financial services company located in Montreal, Quebec, is seeking a part-time Accounts Receivable Associate to join our team. As an Accounts Receivable Associate, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable processes and ensuring timely collection of payments.
Responsibilities: - Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and follow up with customers to collect outstanding balances - Process incoming payments and update customer accounts accordingly - Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues - Prepare and send out invoices and statements to customers - Work closely with other departments to resolve billing or payment issues - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions - Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes - Generate reports and provide insights on accounts receivable performance - Assist in implementing process improvements to streamline accounts receivable procedures
Requirements: - 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field - Confidence and motivation to work independently and within a team - Emotional intelligence to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues - Strong teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with different departments - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
