Accounts Receivable

Job Description:

Community Health Systems is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable Associate to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. As a member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities: - Generate and send out invoices to customers - Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments - Work with customers to resolve billing discrepancies - Process payments and apply them to the appropriate accounts - Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy - Prepare and maintain reports on accounts receivable status - Collaborate with other departments to address customer inquiries and resolve issues - Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts receivable - Provide support for audits and financial reporting as needed

Requirements: - 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively - Resourceful problem-solving skills - Strategic planning abilities - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
