Online Accounts Payable

Job Description:

American Financial Group is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated individual to join our team as an Online Accounts Payable Associate. This part-time position is based in Vancouver, British Columbia and requires a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.

Responsibilities: - Manage the online accounts payable process, including processing invoices, issuing payments, and reconciling accounts - Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve payment discrepancies and ensure timely payment - Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures - Assist with month-end close activities and financial reporting - Use creativity and problem-solving skills to improve processes and streamline workflow - Collaborate with other team members to achieve department goals and objectives

Requirements: - 4 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry - Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software - Energetic personality with a dedication to quality work - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
