AbbVie is currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia as an Online Accounts Payable Associate on a part-time basis. As an Associate level position, the ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities: - Manage all online accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment preparation, and vendor communication - Reconcile invoices and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner - Ensure all payments are processed accurately and on time - Assist with month-end closing activities and financial reporting - Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in accounts payable
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Resourceful and motivated attitude - Strong leadership skills
