Operations Manager

Job Description:

Baker Hughes is seeking a part-time Operations Manager to join our team in Montreal, Quebec. As a Mid-to-Senior Level professional with at least 6 years of experience, the Operations Manager will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing day-to-day business operations. The ideal candidate will be driven and resilient, with strong soft skills in project management and problem-solving.

Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity. 2. Monitor key performance indicators and develop action plans to address any areas of concern. 3. Lead and manage cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration. 4. Oversee budget planning and financial forecasting to ensure cost-effective operations. 5. Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards. 6. Identify areas for process improvement and drive initiatives to streamline operations. 7. Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term business strategies and goals. 8. Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships and promoting positive engagement.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field. 2. Proven experience in operations management, with a minimum of 6 years in a similar role. 3. Strong leadership and organizational skills. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 5. Proficiency in project management tools and software. 6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. 7. Experience working in the oil and gas industry is a plus.
