Operations Manager

Job Description:

Shell Canada Limited is seeking a part-time Operations Manager to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia. As a Mid-to-Senior Level professional with at least 8 years of experience in operations management, the successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our business.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity - Manage a team of employees to ensure that all operational goals are met - Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement - Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance overall performance - Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards - Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to support operational needs - Provide regular reports to senior management on operational performance and key metrics - Identify and address any issues or concerns that may impact operations - Continuously seek out ways to innovate and improve operational processes

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field - 8+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in the energy industry - Strong leadership and team management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Dedicated and resourceful individual who can think critically and problem-solve effectively - Proven track record of successful strategic planning and implementation - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
