Remote Operations Manager

Job Description:

As a Remote Operations Manager at Avnet, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company's remote operations in Vancouver, British Columbia. This part-time position requires a candidate with at least 8 years of experience in a similar role at a mid-to-senior level.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement strategies to improve overall efficiency and productivity of remote operations - Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement - Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations - Manage remote employees and provide guidance and support as needed - Handle any issues or conflicts that may arise within the team - Communicate effectively with stakeholders to keep them informed of progress and challenges - Utilize project management skills to plan and execute tasks efficiently - Utilize persuasion skills to influence team members and stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in business management or related field - 8+ years of experience in remote operations management - Strong leadership and communication skills - Resilient and able to adapt to changing circumstances - Independent and able to work effectively with minimal supervision - Proficient in project management software - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Experience with budgeting and financial management
