Remote Operations Manager

Job Description:

Big Lots is seeking a talented and experienced Remote Operations Manager to join our team in Toronto, Ontario, CA. As a Mid-to-Senior level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in operations management and will be responsible for overseeing all remote operations activities for our company.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement remote operations strategies to ensure efficiency and productivity in all remote locations - Manage remote teams to ensure they are meeting operational goals and objectives - Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes - Work closely with other department heads to coordinate remote operations with overall company objectives - Provide leadership and guidance to remote team members, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment - Develop and maintain relationships with third-party vendors to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of services - Conduct regular performance evaluations of remote team members and provide feedback for professional growth - Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field - 8+ years of experience in operations management - Proven track record of success in managing remote teams - Independent and passionate personality traits - Strong time management and negotiation skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications - Knowledge of industry best practices for remote operations management
