Operations Manager - Work from home

Job Description:

Univar is seeking a highly experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia. This is a part-time position with a mid-to-senior level of seniority and requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management. As an Operations Manager, you will have the opportunity to work from home, providing you with flexibility and a great work-life balance.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity - Monitor and analyze operational processes and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement - Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration - Lead and mentor a team of operations staff to drive success and achieve company goals - Oversee budget and resource allocation to meet operational targets - Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness

Requirements: - 7+ years of experience in operations management - Reliable and driven personality traits - Strong negotiation and people management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a team - Experience in developing and implementing operational strategies - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred)
