Operations Manager - Work from home

Job Description:

Western Digital is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join our team on a part-time basis, working remotely from home in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. As a mid-to-senior level professional with at least 7 years of experience in operations management, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of our organization.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance the quality of products and services - Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions - Monitor and manage key performance indicators to ensure operational goals are met - Lead and mentor a team of operations staff to drive performance and achieve objectives - Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members - Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations - Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively - Identify and mitigate operational risks to minimize disruptions

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field - Proven experience in operations management or a similar role - Strong organizational and leadership skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Ability to work independently and collaborate with a virtual team - Hardworking and driven with a passion for continuous improvement - Problem-solving and research skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software - Knowledge of industry best practices and trends
